My husband, and now my dog, cannot keep up with me. I had a 3-day camping trip planned. Six parks to visit. Twelve miles to hike. But both boys have small limps. And apparently it’s cold outside. So they both bailed on me. But not entirely.
They agreed to a short 1-2 mile jaunt. Gob would have agreed to more. His excitement causes him to bite off more than he can chew. But since he refused to wear snowshoes, he developed toe-sicles. But not until we were almost done.
Perhaps I can squeeze another day trip out of them yet.
