This park has no trails, just a beach. Which is perfect because I’m planning to just have a lounging beach day. But in true Michigan fashion, the weather thwarts my plans. The clouds have rolled in and the temperature has dropped slightly.
It’s a bit too cold to lay out at the beach. And as I’ve mentioned before, I don’t idle very well. So I walk the short length of the beach. I have the whole park to myself. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, but after 30 minutes I’m ready for my next and final Michigan adventure. I dip my toes into Lake Superior for one last time before I hit the road.
