Big Rapids, MI
Another long trail, but this one I have no plans to return to complete. Partially because it’s further from home. But also because the trail is over 90 miles in length. Maybe a past self would have tried to bike it. But present self does not have time for that.
We chose a short segment near Big Rapids. Both of us are tired from our first two stops of the day. And cold because, well, the snow. We bundle up and walk a bit, but don’t make it far before turning around. Too windy. And Gob’s toes are cold.
We did pass a few other people on the trail. Not the prettiest trail to walk. But would make a fine long run course or a good bike ride.
