The pictures do better justice to this trail than anything I could write.
A beautiful wooded trail with cliff-like overlooks of Lake Superior. Throw in the sunshine and fall colors. Sheer perfection.
As we return to the parking lot, I reach for the key fob I attached to a hair tie on my wrist. It is not there. I start to panic and run my hands through my hair in exasperation. My hair, which funny enough, I had recently thrown into a messy bun. With the very hair tie my key fob was attached to. Relief floods over and we climb into the car.
