After a busy day, Gob and I are both ready for a quiet night. We settle into our campsite for dinner and are soon fast asleep. We awaken shortly after sun down to the distant sound of fireworks. Gob lets out a woof of displeasure before going back to sleep.
We wake up early for our hike. The sun has barely graced us with its presence. Fog is lifting from the lake. The forest is quiet. We enjoy our peaceful little hike.
