Detroit, MI
My first real Michigan winter. It is colder up here. The snow lasts longer, which Gob loves but I do not. It’s been too long since my last adventure, but I’m not yet ready to brave the wilderness. I opt for an “urban” park in Detroit.
We find the trail by the riverfront. There is a small hill with equally small children sledding down it. Gob is not interested in them. Instead he is nose deep in the reeds, searching for rodents.

The trail is dotted with small jungle gyms and sculptures. I know they are meant for children, but Gob is having a lot fun exploring them too.

The actual boardwalk is closed for restoration. Or something seasonal. I cannot decipher. Maybe I will return with Mason this summer. It could be a fun date night.
